During the procedure, a thin tube called a cannula is inserted through small incisions in the skin, and fat cells are suctioned out using a vacuum device. Liposuction is typically performed to improve body contours and proportions, creating a more sculpted and toned appearance. It is important to note that liposuction is not a weight loss solution but rather a method for contouring areas of the body that have stubborn fat deposits resistant to diet and exercise.
