Nursing has always been my passion.  I began my nursing career over 40 years ago in the United Kingdom and continued to learn and grow as a nurse in the United States. I received my Associates degree from Scottsdale Community College and both my Bachelor & Master’s degrees in Nursing education from Grand Canyon University.

I currently work in a busy high risk postpartum unit taking care of mothers and babies. I also work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit of a busy endoscopy center. In addition, I’m also an adjunct professor for Maricopa Community Colleges. I feel it is important to guide and instruct our future nurses! I am certified in both basic and advanced cardiac life support for both adults and children. I have experience in many areas including pre-and post-operative care and I look forward to giving you all the support and guidance in your recovery.

I love hiking, quilting and knitting, spending time with my husband, 2 children and beautiful granddaughter.

Denise Gusich, RN | Arizona

I graduated college with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and communications and a minor in history and business from Purdue University. I realized pretty early on in my career that I was missing an important part of myself, which is to help and connect with people. I went back to school and received my nursing degree in 2011 from GCC. Since then, I have created a specialty in recovering patients from all different types of surgeries: heart, orthopedic, general, plastics, eyes, cancer, urology, ENT, and pain.

I have an entrepreneur spirit and am passionate about whole body wellness. In 2014 I received my CrossFit trainer certification and in 2018 I received my nutrition certification. These certifications in addition to my nursing degree help me see a complete picture with my patience.

I am originally from Indiana and moved to Arizona after marrying my husband who was an AZ native and a local firefighter. We live in Glendale and have 3 amazing daughters which keep my time off work very busy!

Kimberly Hamilton, RN, BSN, CEN | Arizona

Nursing is the only job I’ve ever known. It is truly what I love doing. I have been in the healthcare field since I was in high school, starting out my career working in geriatric long-term care and memory care. I graduated with my ADN in 2002 from Scottsdale Community College, then went on to acquire my BSN from Grand Canyon University in 2005. I have worked for the same hospital system for over 20 years now. Since 2004 I have worked in the Emergency Department, specializing in Level 1 Trauma, primary stroke and cardiac care.

I am proud to say I was born and raised in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona. We currently reside in North Phoenix/Cave Creek where my husband is a Fire Department Division Chief. We have 3 children: 2 sons and a daughter.  On my days off I enjoy working out, hiking, spending time with my family, and traveling around our great state of Arizona.

I’m proud to say I’m a Couplet Care (Postpartum) Registered Nurse Supervisor, who specializes in high risk postpartum patients at HonorHealth Medical Center for the past 8 ½ years. For the last 5 years I’ve been a OB clinical instructor for future nursing students at Glendale Community College. Since May 2020, I’ve ventured out to broaden my nursing skills and knowledge to care for post-op recovering patients in their homes with Concierge RN. I graduated from Scottsdale Community College in May 2012 with my Associates Degree in Nursing and May 2016 I graduated from Grand Canyon University my bachelors of Science in Nursing. I hold a National Board Certification with the National Certification Corporation, for Maternal Newborn Nursing. I also hold an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification, as well as a Neonatal Resusitation Program Certification.

On my days off I enjoys building wood furniture with my husband, taking walks, hiking, traveling, and enjoying my grandchildren.

Rene McCumber, RN | Arizona

I have over 25 years of nursing experience. I have worked in several areas of nursing including oncology, neurology, general nursing care, and Inpatient/PACU. I have a strong background in post-operative inpatient surgical care, recovering patients from general surgeries to plastic surgical procedures mainly in outpatient settings. I’m very comfortable caring for patients in a home setting because of my background, experience and training. I’ve had a personal experience recovering from a very challenging diagnoses that required me to be the patient rather than the nurse. This experience was eye opening and gave me yet another reason to put my heart and soul into helping patients through very difficult recoveries.

When I’m not working, I like to spend most of my time with my daughter and family in Florida taking care of my granddaughters and being a beach bum!

Christina Montanarella, RN | Arizona

I was born in Rochester New York. I come from a big Italian family where most of us are in the medical field. I have always known that I wanted a career in the medical field, a career where I could come home from work knowing that I helped make a difference in someone’s life. I have been a nurse for 7 years, receiving my bachelors degree from Grand Canyon University, Since then, I have been working at Banner University Hospital in the neonatal intensive care unit. (NICU). While I continue to work there, I have also worked in pediatric hematology/oncology. I also have a part-time position with a Home Infusion service as well as Concierge-RN. It has been a joy to work with patients and their families in their home settings. I believe it gives quality care that is personalized. Coming from a large family, I value involving the patient’s family in the healing process. I am happy to create a positive environment for my patient and their families to feel safe and secure while they are in my care.

Katina Jonovich, RN BSN | Arizona

I've always had a passion for caring for others, and that inevitably transitioned into enrolling in nursing school. I attended Grand Canyon University and graduated with my RN, BSN in December 2015. In years since, I have worked in Neurosurgery, Ortho, Gynecology, Colorectal and Palliative. I've enjoyed working in every specialty and have a huge desire to grow my knowledge in the post operative nursing care fields. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking/working out and traveling. I look forward to supporting all clients and providing open communication and empathic care to all. One of my favorite quotes is “Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest accomplishment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” - Leo Buscalgia
