A note from our founder, Chrissy Pacheco, MSN RN
As more complex surgeries were beginning to be performed in the ambulatory surgical setting, the need to have closer monitoring of patients became more important than ever. In April of 2018, I started Concierge RN so that I could provide care to patients the way I feel nursing care was meant to be. High touch and personalized nursing in the comfort of their own environments.
Working 11 years in both inpatient and outpatient recovery settings, and with a background of being a Pain Resource Nurse, gave me the incentive to create a concierge nursing model which incorporated the use of enhanced recovery methods like breathing techniques, EMDR, and use of naturopathic oils. Patients may not know when they should contact their surgeon or physicians for concerns, so I created a model that incorporated true personalized nursing care. Advocating for patients brings the peace of mind patients and their families look for. Assessing everything from pain level and nausea, to ambulation, bleeding, medication schedules, and diet requirements provides a sense of comfort and satisfaction not always found in a hospital or long-term care setting.
Concierge RN was at the forefront of the creation of the concierge nursing model. As healthcare needs have changed, I have successfully modified our approach to fit the changing needs of the community, encompassing patients recovering from surgical procedures as well as those wishing to recover from medical conditions at home rather than a skilled nursing facility. It is our goal to keep patients at home and out of the hospital environment as long as it is in the best interest of the patient.
Our concierge nursing services present a unique partnership opportunity for your patients to continue having the highest level of care even after discharge. Our services are offered as a package or on an hourly basis. Additionally, we are contracted with several highly rated resorts and hotels in the greater Scottsdale area which will provide special rooms and rates for patients that may not reside locally, when needed.
